Iron Man is a 2008 film which takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It has two released sequels, Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3. It is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Terrence Howard as Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes, Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane and Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts.
Synopsis[]
After being captured by a terrorist organization, the self-described genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist Tony Stark builds a weaponized suit of armor to fight crime.

Stan Lee's Cameo[]
Stan Lee attends a gala where he is conversing with three blonde women. Tony Stark walks by and simply greets him, saying, "Look great, Hef", mistaking Lee for Hugh Hefner.
In an alternate version of the scene, Stark realizes his mistake and apologizes, to which Lee replies, "That's okay, I get this all the time."
