Synopsis of "Bedlam at the Baxter Building!"[]

Doctor Doom attempts to ruin Reed Richards and Susan Storm's wedding by gathering a group of the most infamous Marvel villains to attack the Baxter Building.

Stan Lee's Cameo[]

After all of the villains are defeated and Richards and Storm are pronounced man and wife, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby attempt to enter the ceremony. They are turned away by Nick Fury, Gabe Jones and Dum Dum Dugan as they do not have invitations. The pair then leave, talking to each other about how to get revenge.

Gabe Jones - "Colonel, there are two party crashers outside giving the boys a hard time! They say that their names are--!"

Col. Nick Fury - "I don't care who they are, Gabe! No one comes in without an invite! That's an order!

Dum Dum Dugan - "You heard the man, gents! Now ya better go peacable!"

Stan Lee - "But you can't keep us out!"

Gabe - "Don't bet on it, mister!"

Fury - "This way out, you guys!"

Jack Kirby - "You haven't heard the last of this! We have ways of getting even!"

Fury - "Beat it, ya bums! I been threatened by experts!"

Lee - "Aw, go gargle a grenade, ya big stiff!"

Kirby - "How about that?? Imagine them keepin' us out, Stan!"

Lee - "We'll show 'em, Jack! Let's get back to the bullpen and start writing the next ish!"

This cameo was later replicated in the 2007 film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Lee is shown trying to enter Reed and Susan's wedding, but is turned away as he is not on the invitation list.
